A Lemon with a Bowl, a Cup and Flowers
I finally had a chance to be in the studio again today. The inspiration for this painting was a photo of flowers that I then painted with a lot of freedom. The remainder of the composition was my imagination. The painting is finished with a satin acrylic varnish.
I haven't been in the studio much due to my husband having had extensive back surgery. I'm glad to report that he is healing nicely.

During this next week, I may not be posting much. This is because the disorder in my studio has reached maxium chaos. In some parts of it, I have to walk sideways to get past things. So it is time to clear out, add additional storage if possible and rearrange. I would like to be able to set-up my studio so that I can switch from acrylics to pastels without having to put one or the other away each time. Wish me luck.
I have some more daily paintings that I will put on my Daily Paintworks site so check there.

Support #1
As mentioned in a previous blog, I can overwork my paintings so I've decided to set a definite time for painting each of my daily paintings. On the larger or more complex pieces, I am going to try to also follow that idea by working for a short period of time on each piece each day until a painting is complete. I'll let you know how this approach works.
