Red Earrings

My imaginative redo of a swim wear model I found in a catalog.  I like to think of her as a strong, athletic swimmer.  There is a second version which I'll post tomorrow.

This acrylic painting has been sealed with a satin finish acrylic varnish.

Thanks for looking.

The flower guild at my church are true artists creating beautiful arrangements from week to week.  This is from a photo taken of one such arrangement.  Thanks for looking.

The Yellow Table

This painting was also in my recent show.  It comes either framed in a black plein air style frame for $150 or unframed for $100.00.  Please contact me and let me know your preference.  The painting also has been finished with an acrylic satin varnish for additional enhancement and protection.

Flowers in the Bright Sun

This is painted from a photo of flowers that I grew once upon a time in a previous garden.  The photo is over a dozen years old and I finally decided how to use it.  I had to change the table surface and outdoor background-that's the freedom of painting.

The painting was in a show that I had last month in a local coffee shop so I can sell it to you framed in a beautiful gold plein air frame for $150 of unframed for $100.  Just contact me via the BlogSpot or Daily Paintworks. It has a final finish of satin acrylic varnish.

Thanks for looking!

Tea for Stephen

This 8x8 acrylic is from a photo I took of the little tea pot and red cup that a local restaurant served Stephen tea.  The remainder was imaginary on my part. As always, thanks for looking.

A Lemon with a Bowl, a Cup and Flowers

I finally had a chance to be in the studio again today.  The inspiration for this painting was a photo of flowers that I then painted with a lot of freedom.  The remainder of the composition was my imagination.  The painting is finished with a satin acrylic varnish.

I haven't been in the studio much due to my husband having had extensive back surgery.  I'm glad to report that he is healing nicely.

Three Pomegranates

This painting is very textured which gives more interest to the work.  I always finish my paintings with a satin acrylic varnish applied for additional enhancement and protection.

Pomegranates with an Orange

 .
Pomegranates and oranges for some reason always seem to remind me of the Christmas season.
Have a Happy Holiday and thanks for looking!

Tulips and a Lemon

Today, was a good day in the studio, but then any day in the studio is a good day.  I was very happy to be back there.  Tulips are some of my favorite flowers so I need to paint even more of them.  Thanks for looking.
