Just a Few

I finally had a chance to get into the studio.  I got just a few pieces of fruit and set up this quick still life.  Thanks for looking.

Life is really intruding into my painting time.  This blog is being typed with one hand.  I fell and cracked a bone in my left hand which is luckily my non-dominant hand so I am able to paint.

Red and Yellow Flowers

I find bouquets of flowers in some strange places.  This one was in a ladies restroom and thanks to my cell phone I have a always have a camera ready.  Naturally, I imaginatively changed it a lot.  It was fun to be in the studio and to be able to play in the paints.

A Black Vase with Gardenias

This painting is from a photo taken over a decade ago of some gardenias from our yard.  Still trying to loosen up and this painting is getting there.  Thanks for looking.
