Again, I am trying to push toward a more modernist, abstracted approach to painting. 

Scattered Strawberries

This was going to be a simple and quick daily painting.  First, I started out with a lime with 3 strawberries on the yellow background.  Didn't like that, so I added more strawberries.  I still wasn't pleased so I then added the stripped cloth. Now, I am ok with it. 

The Bright Green Plate

It's been awhile since I've posted.  I've been working on some larger pieces and also taking care of the things that have to be done like taxes. Now that that is done, I'm back to the studio where I belong.  Hope you enjoy this 8 x 8 Acrylic on hardboard.  Thanks for looking.

Which one leads?

I haven't posted smaller paintings recently but have added some to my gallery on the Daily Paintworks site. Please see them on that website. I'm working also on some larger pieces so I don't always get a smaller daily painting completed. This painting is matted and ready for framing in a 12 x 9 inch frame. Thanks for taking a look.
