As an under painting, the surface was textured with the remaining acrylic paints left from each day's painting session. Some of the colors may show through adding more interest. It has been finished with a satin acrylic varnish.

I like this one very much. Its sad to see the zinnias come to the end of the season. They are one of my favorite flowers. I use all my leftover paint as underpainting for the next canvas.
